Parkinson's Research Grants for 2010

Parkinson's NSW is a non-profit company formed to promote, disseminate and fund research into all aspects of Parkinson's disease. Parkinson's NSW is calling for applications for one Unity Walk Research Grant up to the value of $60,000 and seed grants up $20,000 each (exclusive of GST) and for biological/ non-clinical and clinical/ psychosocial research.

Past grants for Parkinson's Research

Parkinson's NSW has pleasure in announcing the winners of the Research Grants. The $50,000 Unity Walk Research Grant was awarded to Prof Glenda Halliday and the $20,000 Seed Grant was awarded to Dr Natalie Page and Dr Stuart Smith.

Research Student Award

Parkinson's NSW is delighted to announce the winners of the stipend for Masters/ Doctoral research on basic or clinical aspects of Parkinson's disease in 2009. Three PhD stipends of $6000 per year for a period of up to three years have been awarded to Natalie Allen, Claire Stevens, and Jie Zhang.
